Billing and payment options

Pick the Best Way to Pay

CHELCO offers a variety of options with members in mind:


Average billing: This billing method averages a member’s annual power bill into 12 monthly installments, making monthly payments predictable.


Bank draft: Have payments automatically deducted from a bank account.


Bill reminder: We will send you a reminder before your bill is due to avoid late payment.


Check account balance: Check you balance anytime with our online service. You can also check your balance anytime by calling (850) 307-1212 or stop by one of our kiosks.


Credit card payments: To make payment by credit card, use your on-line account portal, visit a kiosk or call (850) 307-1212. An additional fee is incurred with payment by credit card.


Kiosks:  Cash, check or credit card payments can be made anytime at CHELCO’s kiosks. There is no additional fee with check orcash payments but there is a fee with payment by credit card.


Paperless billing: Sign up to receive bills and news online.


Prepay : Joining our Prepay program lets members pay for electricity on their schedule, adding funds to their accounts as often as they choose.


Payment assistance: Members Helping Members is a program to help members with electric service payments during times of financial hardships.
